Discovering the magic of fantasy and sci-fi amidst challenges, ID’s founder and creative director transformed hardships into a creative outlet through the power of the heart, symbolized by a spiritual orb—a catalyst for change. Today, ID stands as a Canadian fashion icon, showcasing styles that not only evoke fantasy but also inspire better relationships across the globe. Our brand is a testament to overcoming adversity—whether it’s battling addiction or thriving without an ID in a foreign land. We champion a lifestyle of active living, healthy eating, and regular exercise, believing these are essential for personal growth. Join us in our journey to make life a little more magical and a lot more connected. All of our clothes are custom made to order, specifically to suit your everyday needs. All of our clothes are machine washed several times before being photographed and displayed on our store for quality assurance. At IDLabs.ca, we intentionally limit our clothing sales to $1,000 per month to keep every piece rare and exclusive. Purchases are placed on a waiting list and rolled over to the following month, ensuring only a select few can own each drop.

All proceeds from our store support our mission at ID Labs: empowering young athletes to play and gain recognition for their achievements through Sportr. Beyond sports, we proudly back innovative projects like SWOVV.com, 1900NORTH and Moone, while delivering cutting-edge websites and branding solutions for our clients.

History

Since 2003, Nathaniel Duncan, CEO and Creative Director of IDLabs, has been building at the intersection of media, fashion, and innovation. That journey began in Toronto with the launch of Sportr under Onmedia Inc.—a bold sports media concept ahead of its time that fused culture, athletics, and digital storytelling.

In 2014, Nathaniel expanded his creative path to Los Angeles, where he became a signed model, gaining firsthand experience inside the global fashion and entertainment industries. That chapter sharpened his understanding of brand image, visual identity, and the power of aesthetic influence on a worldwide stage.

Today, that combined legacy fuels IDLabs.ca—where fashion meets innovative media technologies. With roots in early digital sports media and experience in international modeling, Nathaniel brings a rare blend of creative direction, brand storytelling, and forward-thinking tech integration. At IDLabs, style is strategy, media is architecture, and innovation is woven into every brand we build.

Innovation Lab exploration explained
